Bought to us as a shell in 2020, this project was total restoration of a Victorian sea-view apartment in Falmouth. Following all Listed building consents, the property was rebuilt from the inside, creating partition walls, installing new electrics and heating system, bespoke kitchen and wet room, allowing this apartment to thrive for the next 100 years. Using heritage colours and a soft lighting scheme, the interior design is a salute to the age of the property.
Our brief was Victorian heritage with a modern twist
Accentuating and adding to the beautiful features of this 1800’s property. In line with all planning permissions and protocols, the walls were rebuilt, electrical rewire undertaken and new heating system installed.
A bespoke locally made kitchen was installed with all the modern appliances and LED lighting, along with a luxury wet room using heritage materials and porcelain tiles have given the property a contemporary edge, while being sympathetic to its age.
The decor through out is sympathetic to its era, brining both light and warmth. Oak floors were laid along with column anthracite radiators and the result was incredible.
Using deep, rich blues to dress the walls, along with restored coving and brass light fittings add the luxury our client sought. A fine example of full project management by Warren French. The apartment has now been sold in 2021 with a large increase in the 18-month ownership period.
